A list of zoos and aquariums is avaiable under Yahoo. There is usually something regarding their volunteer program at these sites. If you want to work in a zoo begin by volunteering or get an internship at a zoo where you would like to work. This helps you get a "foot in the door." Zoos and aquaria are more likely to hire you for a paying position if you a known. They may give preference to someone that they know and does a good job over someone who just looks good on paper. Do not really expect to get a paying internship, these positions (paying) are few and competitive. Most of these positions in zoos are volunteer but you will gain valuable experince.
