Homework Assignments:
A
key part of this workshop will be the homework assignments, without which the
class sessions will be meaningless. There
will be two types of assignments:
1.
Chapter
Analyses, which were described above, including a summary of the key
elements of the chapter, and a list of questions about any significant aspects
of the chapter you don’t understand.
These assignments should be emailed to me no later than the night
before we begin discussion of the chapter.
They may not be turned in late.
2.
Selected problems from the end of
each chapter. These will be due after we
complete work on the chapter.
The homework assignments will
be worth 30% of your final grade in the course, which highlights their
importance.
