I believe that a major part of what you will learn is this course will be learned from other students, especially through questions and comments they make in class. Your class participation grade will be based on everything you contribute to this course other than the research assignments and the final draft of the research paper.
Specifically, class participation will be evaluated on the basis of the following:
1. Quality of in-class and other non-graded assignments;
2. Frequency of in-class discussion;
3. Quality of in-class discussion.
