Expert Study:

Choose a focused question about globalization that really interests you. Over the course of the semester, develop expertise in that area with the goal of becoming the class expert. Plan on writing at least two drafts of your findings, as well as presenting your findings orally. The written version should be approximately ten printed, double-spaced pages in length. The findings should be in the form of a thesis-driven argumentative paper, where the conclusions follow from the evidence presented. The Expert Study will count 25% towards your final grade.
