ECON 324 - Economics of Philanthropy and the Nonprofit Sector
Fall 2007

It is the mission of the Mary Washington Charitable Foundation (MWC Foundation) to provide financial support to organizations based in the Fredericksburg region currently offering education and healthcare services to youth. The region is defined as the City of Fredericksburg, as well as the counties of Spotsylvania, Orange, Culpeper, King George, Stafford, Caroline, Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William, Loudon, and the Northern Neck region.

To apply, please submit the completed application to the address below by November 1, 2007 (Postmarks honored). Application forms in Word and PDF format available for downloading below.

If chosen as a recipient of the grant, a representative from the organization is expected to attend the presentation ceremony to be held on December 4, 2007. Furthermore, reports of the program or project’s progress must be sent to Dr. Rycroft by April 1, 2008, and September 1, 2008.
