Paul D. Fallon is Assistant Professor of Linguistics in the Department of English, Linguistics, and Speech at the University of Mary Washington. Click here for Linguistics at UMW.

  • Phonology (especially feature theory) and prosodic morphology
  • Morphology
  • Writing Systems
  • Historical Linguistics
  • The Blin (Bilin, Bilen) language of Eritrea
  • African languages, especially Afro-Asiatic

Dr. Fallon is a member of the Linguistic Society of America, the International Phonetic Association, the American Dialect Society, the Dictionary Society of North America, Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Kappa, and the Advisory Board of Linguist List.
