Students will be divided into teams of 2 or 3 students. The goal of each team will be to create a Web presence for some organization. Each team’s site must include examples of concepts from chapters 4 anf following of the textbook. These concepts are:

Examples will be provided in the chapters, however each team is encouraged to conduct additional research to think of new and creative ways to incorporate the items into their site.

This project is expected to require a significant time commitment from each team member. All team members MUST contribute to the technical development (ie. programming) involved in the site creation (in other words, no one is allowed to have “selecting the color scheme and scheduling meetings” as their sole contributions to the project). Group member’s participation will be evaluated through the weekly status reports (explained below) and by peer evaluations (conducted periodically). The course is expected to provide all students with valuable teamwork experience.

The Honor Code applies to group projects. Each group should complete the programming project without assistance from members of other groups or students from other courses.

The status report should be sent via email to ernie@paprika.umw.edu and should also be carbon copied to all group members.
