1. Start a Web browser, type http://blogger.com in the address field, and press Enter. You'll see

At another time you may also want to follow some of the other links on this page such as Download Blogger for Word and Blogger Images.
3. After you're finished with the tour, click on 
4. Fill in appropriate information on the page CREATE ACCOUNT.
Remember your user name and password. Click on CONTINUE for the next step. REMEMBER your login name and password.
5. In this step you get to name your blog. Pick any name you'd like, but remember it will be public. For now, go with the default option to have your blog hosted at blogspot.com. REMEMBER the name of your blog.
You get to choose the URL. If its already taken you'll be asked to select another.
Be sure to remember the URL for your blog. Include the URL of your blog in an email to me at ernie@paprika.umw.edu. Of course, you'll also need to remember your user name and password, but you don't need to share that with me.
Click on CONTINUE. 
6. Now you choose a template for the blog. (You can change the template later.)
7. After that you're ready to start writing in your blog!
8. Post an entry to your blog. You can select the topic and material to write. Need some ideas? How about something about who you are, where you come from, where you live, an event that's been on your mind, a sport or other activity you're interested in, some political commentary, or a review of a Web site? It's your choice, but get it done. See if you can include a hyperlink to another Web page, and try to include an image as well.
